After graduating in 2018 from Bristol University, Katie worked as an academic junior doctor until starting a PhD with the Ageing and Movement Research Group in 2022. She is leading on the PRIME-Parkinson RCT, looking at how we can best deliver care to people with Parkinson’s. After her PhD Katie will continue her training to become a Neurologist, aiming to split her career between caring for people with Parkinson’s and research.
