Pim received her medical degree and her formal training in radiation oncology from Chiang Mai University, Thailand. She subsequently spent 2 years in the US where she completed the Paediatric Radiation Oncology Fellowship at Harvard University. She also graduated from the University of Exeter with an MSc in Genomic Medicine in 2020. She then joined the Ageing and Movement Research group, where she contributes to the PRIME-Parkinson RCT, focusing on PRIME-Bone.
